Since 1983, Mister Dube has been creating artwork with various mediums including watercolor, oil, and acrylic. He paints the gamut from realism to surrealism, impressionism, and expressionism. Over the past eleven years, he has had great success with the development of his own acrylic paint and technique using bold colors, active lines, and fluidity. This unique style draws the viewer into a whole new distinctive experience of color and movement. Mister Dube has dedicated his life to exploring the creativity of the mind in its fourth dimension. Mister Dube’s extensive body of work and long career as an artist induced attention and popularity with galleries and collectors worldwide.

He has worked with such treasured artists as Jean-Paul Riopelle, Luigi Tiengo, Paul Ygartua, Brent Heighton, Chris MacCLure, and John Einerssen, all of whom mentored him. 

Mister Dube exhibited his creations at the Calgary Stampede and was awarded the first prize by the Artist’s Guild. He has received several other awards such as the Best Show at the South Delta Artist’s Guild, a Certificate of Excellence from Artvita, an award of Merit at the Regional Showcase of the 1986 Vancouver World Exposition, and more. Mister Dube is actively being represented by the Latitude Gallery in Calgary, the Fallen Gallery in Canmore, the Artym Gallery in Invermere, Gallery 401 in Kelowna, Lloyd’s Gallery in Penticton, has recently been commissioned by a Singaporean gallery, and is now represented in Taiwan by Art 2 Fashion Inc, a new company promoting international art to the Asian marketplace.

As early as the mid-seventies, Mister Le Roux was associated with a friend in the sale of works by celebrated Canadian First Nations artists Norval Morrisseau and Benjamin Chee Chee. From 1985 to 1992, he was involved both as board and production assistant in the successful and innovative “Painters & Players Productions ” series in Vancouver, Canada. Featuring 22 spectacular live productions with a cast of 150 performers, each show in the series also featured 20 renowned and upcoming painters in action. Four-hour extravaganzas, staged in the finest of details, Painters & Players Productions where described by the media as a “vision from a Fellini movie “ to the best entertainment in the city.

In keeping with his entrepreneurial spirit, Mister Le Roux has also embraced over the years a variety of business ventures, both as consultant and proprietor. These have ranged from the gamut of proprietorship and operator of a sports/cycling shop to that of a boat charter business, and owner of a successful French Fine Dining restaurant in White Rock, B.C Canada.

Having closely followed with admiration over the past three decades the evolution and blossoming of his friend Serge Dube’s outstanding talents and vibrant output.
